General Shipping Information [Top]

 

The estimated shipping time for stock wig, hair extension, and accessory orders is within 7 business days from the time your order is processed and any swatches are received.

Most domestic customers receive their stock orders (lace wigs, hair extensions, accessories) within 3-5 business days from the time their order is shipped or within 7 -10 days from placing their order.

Most international customers receive their stock orders (lace wigs, hair extensions, accessories) within 7-10 business days from the time their order is shipped or within one to two weeks from placing their order.

The estimated shipping time for out of stock or non-stock products is within 4-6 weeks from the time your order is processed and any swatches are received.

The estimated shipping time for custom orders is within 12 weeks from the time your order is processed and any swatches and/or templates are received. (Custom lace wig orders take approximately 8-10 weeks to process and create – plus an additional week or so must be added after the wig is created to account for the shipment of the wig to you).  However, this is an estimate. This time can be extended depending on several factors beyond our control such as technical and shipping delays, holidays, the use of a template mold and/or the use of color swatches to create your order.

All adhesive products (including removers and protectors) except for adhesive tapes, must be shipped via FedEx Home Delivery (Ground) because they are ORM-D Consumer Commodities*.  If your order contains ORM-D commodities, the entire shipment will be made via FedEx Home Delivery (Ground) even if you select USPS as the shipping method upon checkout.
Please make sure to select FedEx Home Delivery (Ground) as the shipping method upon checkout if your order contains ORM-D commodities.  If you select USPS as the shipping method and your order contains ORM-D commodities, you will be billed for any applicable charges for FedEx Home Delivery (Ground) service before your order is shipped.

Please note, that we cannot ship ORM-D consumer commodities to the following locations: Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, P.O. Boxes, APO, or International Addresses.

*ORM-D is a designation assigned by the U.S. Department of transportation to note a small amount of material that can be considered a hazardous substance, but packaged in a form intended or suitable for retail sale. Often, the material may be mildly hazardous, but when combined with other hazardous substances, it may represent a significant risk.  Due to the potential for a catastrophic event as a result of pressures at high altitudes, and the fact that some air shipments travel in cargo holds of planes that also carry passengers, the U.S. Department of Transportation bans the shipment of any hazardous materials, including ORM-D Consumer Commodities from traveling any way other than surface transportation (truck, train or cargo ship).

USPS - Priority Mail

 

Priority Mail is our standard domestic shipping method and shipping costs are automatically calculated at checkout.  All US shipments are sent with delivery and signature confirmation.

Priority Mail shipping labels are printed electronically online and require a valid e-mail address as you will receive notification of your shipment and tracking information via e-mail. (Please ensure that your spam blockers are not blocking e-mails from Hair Isle). You can track Priority Mail shipments via the USPS website (www.usps.com).  Please note that USPS does not provide real-time tracking information for Priority Mail.  You may also use our Contact Us form if you have any additional questions regarding your order.

According to USPS estimates, Priority Mail is normally delivered within 2-3 business days* within the United States from the time it is shipped.

USPS - Express Mail

 

Express Mail is available for US customers only*.  According to USPS estimates, Express Mail items shipped using this service can be delivered within the 48 contiguous United States and Washington, D.C. within 1-2 business days** from the time it is shipped.  (The "guaranteed" delivery time for Express mail is dependent on both the package drop off time and the delivery destination).

Federal Express - Home Delivery (Ground)

 

Federal Express - Home Delivery (Ground) service is available only for domestic orders containing ORM-D* products.  FedEx Home Delivery (Ground) will deliver your package within 7-10 business days from receipt of your order.  Most of the orders shipped with the Home Delivery (Ground) option on the East Coast can be expected sooner (within only 2 - 4 business days).

Please note, that we cannot ship ORM-D consumer commodities to the following locations: Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, P.O. Boxes, APO, or International Addresses.

We will provide Federal Express – Express Delivery service to most destinations in the U.S.  We provide the following Express Delivery services only: Fed Ex Express Saver (delivery in 3 business days by 7pm) and Fed Ex 2 Day (delivery in 2 business days by 7pm).  However, we provide this service to prior customers only.  Also, prior customers who wish to use Federal Express – Express Delivery service for their order must contact us prior to placing their order.

 

Overnight Shipping

 

USPS - Express Mail and Federal Express - Express Delivery are offered as EXPEDITED delivery options, not overnight shipping options.  Orders will be processed and shipped per our normal order processing estimates (see "General Shipping Info" for more information).  Delivery estimates for expedited shipping services should be based on your actual order ship date.  Therefore, please keep in mind that if you choose these expedited services, your package may not arrive exactly within the stated delivery time.

 

International Shipping [Top]

 

USPS - Express Mail International

 

Express Mail International is our standard international shipping method and shipping costs are automatically calculated at checkout.  All international shipments are sent with delivery and signature confirmation.

Please note that we are not responsible for customs fees that may be charged for orders received outside of the US.

Lost, Damaged, or Delayed Orders [Top]

 

We are not responsible for items lost, stolen, or damaged in transit to you.  Therefore we strongly suggest you consider adding insurance coverage to your order.  Insurance is available for $2.50 per $100 dollars in package value. 

Any order which has not been received 30 days after the shipping date is considered a lost order.  Lost, stolen, or damaged orders will be replaced ONLY if the customer purchased insurance at the time the order was placed.  We consider any order to have been received when the delivery status for the package indicates "Delivered".

If merchandise is lost in transit, it will be replaced only after the shipment has been traced (provided that the order was insured at the time of shipment).  Upon confirmation of non-delivery, a claim will be filed and the merchandise will be replaced or you will be issued a credit (minus the shipping costs).  We are not responsible for uninsured shipments which are lost or damaged in transit.

We accept no responsibility or liability for shipping delays which are a result of errors on the part of the shipping carrier.

Accessories

 

If a product purchased is defective or not to Buyer’s satisfaction, Buyer can return the product in its original and unused condition.  Before returning product, Buyer must contact Hair Isle™ using our “Returns Authorization Request” form within 7 days of receipt of product.  In such event, Hair Isle™ shall provide Buyer (i) a refund for the original product purchase amount (less shipping and handling charges incurred) or (ii) provide credit for future purchases from the Site (less shipping and handling charges incurred) valid for 365 days from date of credit issue or (iii) provide an exchange for a product of equal or lesser value to the original purchase amount (less shipping and handling charges incurred).  

 

Stock & Custom Hair Extension Products including Wigs & Closures

 

Due to the nature of Economy Collection and O.M/E (Organically Modified and/or Enhanced) hair products, these products in a Worn/Used/Non-Original Condition are sold as is and all sales are final. 

 

Hair Isle™ does not offer refunds, or allow returns or exchanges on any Worn/Used/Non-Original Condition Stock Economy CollectionO.M/E (Organically Modified and/or Enhanced) hair extension products including Closures and U Part 'N Go I & II Wigs, Premium Collection Closures and U Part 'N Go I & II wigs, or any hair product chemically processed by the customer

 

Hair Isle™ does offer refunds, and allow returns or exchanges on Unworn/Unused/Original Condition Stock Economy Collection, Premium Collection & O.M/E (Organically Modified and/or Enhanced) hair extension products including Closures & U Part 'N Go I & II Wigs, and does offer limited returns & refunds on Worn/Used/Non-Original Condition Stock Premium Collection hair extension products (excluding Worn/Used/Non-Original Condition Closures and U Part 'N Go I & II wigs).  Please refer to Hair Isle 30-Day Money Back Guarantee for more details on our Return Policy for these products as restrictions/limitations also apply.

 

Custom orders cancelled after processing are subject to the loss of the initial deposit made (plus the charge for the use of a template if a template was used) – NO EXCEPTIONS!

Refunds for Custom orders received by customer are limited to non deposit payments only as initial deposits for custom orders are Non-Refundable.  In light of this, we ask that you be certain of your product or color choice.  Colors shown on our website may appear different from the actual colors due to lighting conditions, image processing limitations and varying monitor qualities.  If you are uncertain of your hair color choice, you may purchase our hair color ring or send us a swatch of the intended hair color and we will attempt to match it to the best of our ability.  If you are uncertain of your lace color choice, you may rent our lace color swatch.  If you are uncertain of your hair texture choice for an O/M.E (Organically Modified and/or Enhanced) hair extension product, you may rent our hair texture swatch.
